Abstract Black Wave

Private Company Director Compensation Survey.

In Canada, a significant portion of businesses are privately-held. Increasingly, private companies are adopting advisory or fiduciary boards to improve their corporate governance. While publicly-traded companies are required to disclose their director compensation and corporate governance practices, this information is not readily available for privately-held companies.

CGP is dedicated to delivering valuable insights and advice for clients. To meet this commitment, CGP has partnered with Watson Board Advisors, Family Enterprise Canada, and The Directors College to collect information on director compensation and governance practices at privately-held companies to provide organizations with additional visibility into market practices.

If you are an owner, major shareholder, senior leader or fiduciary/advisory board member of a family-owned, closely-held or private equity-owned company with some form of active board, our survey will help you keep up to date on competitive compensation and leading governance practices.
