Executive Compensation & Governance Database (ECGD).

Our focus on executive compensation allows us to continue delivering valuable insights to our clients. CGP’s proprietary Executive Compensation & Governance Database includes job-sized executive positions using executive compensation data from both our clients and participating organizations, as well as data from publicly-traded organizations within the TSX 100-300.

Our Executive Compensation & Governance Database allows for the benchmarking of executive roles using both a job size and job match methodology. These two methodologies are briefly described below.

Job Size

Allows for the comparison of jobs of similar size, regardless of job title, across different sectors, functions and levels; this methodology is particularly useful for unique roles and organizations.

Job Match

Allows for the comparison of jobs with similar job titles, roles and responsibilities; a reasonable job match is typically considered to be at least a 70% match in job content.
